“In America we don’t do kings”.
On June 14th there will be over 1500 “No Kings” protests in a nationwide day of defiance to reject authoritarianism. The message of the protests is to show leaders and institutions that the American people are not going to capitulate to Trump’s desire to be an authoritarian ruler and neither should they. Protest and peacefully send a message that Democracy will reassert itself. The protest will coincide with Trump’s military parade in Washington DC and Flag day. The protest organizers want to take back patriotism and the American flag from the far right and suggest protestors wave a flag at the protests.
