LFG began with people: voters in Pennsylvania’s 13th congressional district who were deeply concerned about the dismantling of our federal government, the dangerous consequences of unchecked power, and absent public officials at a time when we desperately need courageous leadership.

We believe that, issue by issue, we are not a minority voice. There are many others in our communities who fear losing access to healthcare, education, and other fundamental, publicly-funded American institutions upon which our futures depend. Collectively, our voices are powerful. And together, we can call for accountability, because our legislators may have only been elected by some, but they took an oath to represent us all.

LFG is founded, funded, and run entirely by local citizens. We’re not a part of a national organization, political party, or issue campaign. Our advocacy efforts are nonpartisan, community-led, and hyperlocal—and this is by design, to remove all doubt that it is OUR voices and issues that are being amplified to our representatives.

We know that change starts at home. Our goal is to organize constituents who share our concerns all across PA-13 and empower them to advocate for their issues through civic education, advocacy training, and strategic action.

No matter what challenges we face, people are at the heart of everything we do.
